Team Group showcase their new Cardea-Z series of NVMe SSDs, which comes with an integrated heatsink offers sequential read/write speeds of up to 2650MB/s. and 1,400MB/s
The Cardea-Z will offer the same memory controller, PCB design and NAND options as their existing Cardea series, but with a small and thin heatsink design that is suitable for notebooks and other space-constrained devices.
This drive will use MLC flash memory and come in 240GB and 480GB variants, with both versions coming with 180,000 IOPS of 4K random access performance.
At this time Team Group have not priced their new Cardea-Z SSD offerings, though they are expected to be cheaper than their existing Cardia series SSD due to its lack of a large heatsink.
