Zotac shows off a high end PCIe SSD
Â
Zotac has shown off their new high end PCIe SSD with sequential transfer rates that are in the region of 2GB/s.Â
Right now details are light on this new drive from Zotac, but we know that it will be using Toshiba 10nm class MLC Flash, a Phison memory controller and will be available with a PCI half height card adapter for small form factor systems. The interface for the card will be PCIe 3.0 x4, giving this card plenty of bandwidth to achieve fast file transfer rates.
Â
Â
Sadly we have not been able to get full details on this new PCIe SSD from Zotac, but it is expected to the the first of many PCIe SSDs that will be seen at CES 2016, offering speeds which are far in excess of what the aging SATA and AHCI standards are capable off.Â
