Acer’s new Predator Orion 7000 is the world’s first Intel Arrow Lake PC

Acer’s Predator Orion 7000 is the first Intel Arrow Lake PC to be revealed

Acer has revealed their first PC to be powered by Intel Arrow Lake, their new Predator Orion 7000. Sadly, Acer has not revealed detailed specifications for Arrow Lake. Even so, we know that the system will feature an NPU, and support up to 128GB of DDR5 memory. This seems to confirm that Intel’s upcoming Arrow Lake CPUs will feature a Neural Processing Unit (NPU).

Previously, Intel’s NPUs were only available as part of the company’s Meteor Lake processors. These CPUs were exclusive to laptops and embedded PCs. With Arrow Lake and their newly launched Lunar Lake CPUs, Intel are bringing their NPU technology to more areas of the PC market. With Arrow Lake, NPUs are becoming mainstream.

Acer’s new Predator Orion 7000 system also features a new CycloneX 360 liquid cooler. Additionally, it supports up to an RTX 4090 graphics card. The system also features WIFI 7, Acer’s new AI “Intelligence Space” and a unique M.2 hot-swap bay (see below).

Currently, Intel is expect to launch their Arrow Lake series CPUs later this year. This means that Acer’s new Predator Orion 7000 should become available to purchase relatively soon.
