ASRock reveals their new DeskMini Micro-STX gaming PCs

ASRock has revealed their new DeskMini series of Micro-STX gaming PCs, coming with up to an i7 7700K and up to a GTX 1060 or am RX 480 with dimensions of only 210mm x 157.5mm x 81.9mm. This is a tiny form factor for a gaming PC, nevermind one that is VR Ready.

This PC embodies what many would see as a perfect form factor for travel, offering an ideal balance between performance and a portability, offering VR ready levels of performance while coming in a form factor that almost enters NUC territory.

ASRock’s DeskMini features a Micro-STX form factor, with dual SO-DIMM slots which allow this PC to support up to 32GB of 2400MHz DDR4 memory, dual SATA power and data ports for storage and three total M.2 ports (two of which support 2280/2260 M.2 PCIe Gen 3 x4 SSDs).

This PC seems like an interesting addition to ASRock’s lineup, offering what looks like the perfect blend of performance and size, though at this time it is unknown how loud this unit will be when under load.

ASRock has not revealed when this unit will be made available for sale to the public or the pricing structure of each unit, though these are expected in the near future.
