ASUS’ 2025 ROG NUC Leaks – RTX 50 GPU + Intel Core Ultra 200 CPU

ASUS’ next-gen ROG NUC has been pictured – An ROG Console Killer with RTX 50 graphics

Images of a new ROG NUC have leaked on Weibo. The device is claimed to be ASUS’ second-generation ROG NUC design, featuring an Intel Core Ultra 200H CPU and Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 series graphics. This new NUC will likely be revealed at CES 2025, following the Intel and Nvidia keynotes. This is where Intel’s next-generation mobile CPUs and Nvidia’s next-gen GPUs will be revealed.

Like its predecessor, this new NUC is compact in size. With next-generation CPU and graphics components, it should deliver much more performance than its predecessor. Furthermore, its compact size should make it a compelling product for PC gamers who want a console-sized system. This is ASUS’ answer to the PlayStation 5 Pro.

Currently, it is unknown what level of hardware this new NUC will possess. Given its size, it will likely feature an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 or RTX 5070 class graphics card. Furthermore, these GPUs will likely be Nvidia’s laptop-class GPU models. Note that ASUS’ current-generation ROG NUC 14 features an Intel Meteor Lake CPU and Nvidia RTX 4060/RTX 4070 laptop graphics.

ASUS are likely to reveal a new lineup of NUC products at CES 2025. These NUCs should contain Intel’s latest processors, be it Arrow Lake or Lunar Lake. All of these NUCs should feature NPUs, making them “AI-ready”. However, it remains to be seen if Intel’s Arrow Lake-powered NUCs will be compatible with Microsoft Copilot.
