ASUS launches NUC 14 Pro AI at IFA with Intel Lunar Lake CPUs
ASUS releases its first AI-ready NUC
Intel’s new Ultra Series 2 Lunar Lake CPUs deliver incredible low-power performance, and where better to put it than a new AI-focused NUC. ASUS has revealed their new NUC 14 Pro AI, a new Copilot+ mini PC that’s less than 0.6 litres in size and sports 120 total TOPS of AI performance.
Like other NUCs, the new NUC 14 AI PRO takes compact performance to the extreme. This NUC measures in at 130mm x 130mm x 34mm, and this system contains a tonne of features given its minute size.
With its Lunar Lake CPU, this system features a strong 8-core processor with four P-Cores and four E-cores. It also features a new Intel ARC Xe2 GPU, and a new 48 TOPS NPU (Neural Processing Unit). Connectivity-wise, this unit features two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two 5G USB ports, two 10G USB ports, HDMI 2.1, an Audio combo port, and 2.5Gb ethernet jack. Not bad for a system that’s this small. This new NUC also supports M.2 2280 NVMe SSDs. There is also a Microsoft Copilot button for those who want to use Microsoft’s latest AI features.
As always, this new NUC delivers a lot of power given its small form factor. Sadly, Copilot+ support will not be available for this device until Microsoft releases a new Windows 11 update this November. Until then, Copilot+ will be limited to compatible Qualcomm PCs.
