ASUS ROG claims the gaming laptop crown with leading global market share

The gaming laptop market has grown tremendously in recent years, and ASUS’ ROG division is capitalising on that, becoming the No.1 brand across international markets with a market share of 22.6 percent.

Based on that metric, more than one in every five gaming laptops sports the Republic of Gamers brand, which is a huge achievement given the number of gaming laptop brands on the market today. That data point was based on market share data which was gathered in April 2020.

With recent models with the 300Hz Zephyrus S17 and high-end offerings like the Ryzen-powered Zephyrus G14, it is undeniable that ASUS’ ROG division has some great designs to offer mobile gamers. Even today, ASUS’ compact Zephyrus G14 remains out of stock in many regions, which stands as a testament to the desirability of a compact gaming notebook with access to eight Ryzen cores and GPUs as gaming graphics as high-end as Nvidia’s RTX 2060 Max-Q.

ASUS ROG claims the gaming laptop crown with leading global market share

With ASUS being the first to market with a 300Hz gaming laptop, and one of the first to adopt Ryzen Mobile 4000 series processors for gaming-grade designs, it is easy to see why ASUS’ ROG designs remain popular. ASUS has taken risks with their designs and has endeavoured to remain in front of their competitors on the technological front.
