Atari showcases their new Ataribox console

 
The Ataribox has finally been revealed, showcasing a small form factor console that offers the ability to play classic Atari games as well as “new content”. 
 
At this time the exact pricing and hardware contained in the Ataribox are unknown, as is the exact functionality of the console, though it looks like this console will provide users with a lot more options than Nintendo’s Mini consoles. 

  
This new console will come in black with either red or wood styled detailing, with the console supporting Gigabit Ethernet and SD cards, with the console also sporting four USB ports and an HDMI output.

Atari has not revealed much about this new console, but the company pledges that they want to get this release “right”, stating that they will reveal more information soon.
