Gigabyte announces their BRIX Gaming GT Desktop
Gigabyte has announced their BRIX Gaming GT Desktop, which comes with an i7 6700K and a GTX 1080 in a console-like form factor, providing gamers with enough graphical horsepower for a high-end gaming at 1440p or 4K and even enthusiast-grade VR experiences.Â
This case uses a chimney-type cooler design which exhausts hot air out of the top of the chassis, with a custom 400W PSU which is more than enough to power this ultra efficient PC. Â
The Brix Gaming GT will sport 32GB of dual-channel DDR4 memory at 2133MHz with a 240GB M.2 SSD and a 1TB HDD. This system will also have an empty 2.5″ mount for an extra SSD or HDD for additional storage capacity.Â
Â
Â
This system will come with Windows 10 pre-installed with dual USB 3.1 ports, four USB 3.0 ports, Killer E2400 gigabit Ethernet and Intel dual-band 802.11ac WLAN and Bluetooth 4.0.Â
The Gigabyte Brix measures in at 276mm x 384mm x 128mm, making this one of the smallest systems available with a GTX 1080 and an i7 6700K.Â
Sadly Gigabyte did not reveal the pricing of this unit, though it is expected to go on sale in early 2017.Â
