Intel shows working Panther Lake PCs at CES with Xe3 Celestial graphics
Intel powers on its next-generation Panther Lake systems at CES
At CES 2025, Intel isn’t just showcasing its latest and greatest hardware; they have revealed that the best is yet to come. In their showroom, Intel had several ODM systems that were using their next-generation Panther Lake processors. Intel confirmed that these Panther Lake CPUs contained early 12-core processors and 12-core Xe3 GPU. Next-gen CPU cores and next-generation graphics.
At CES, Intel has confirmed that their 18A products will enter volume production in H2 2025. Intel’s early Panther Lake systems use early A0 silicon and early graphics drivers. Sadly, we were not allowed to use these systems on the showroom floor.
The systems on show come from ODM system manufacturers like Wistron, Compal, and Pegatron. These companies manufacture laptops for Intel’s OEM partners.

If things go to plan, Intel may launch their first 18A products later this year, complete with Panther Lake series CPU cores and Xe3 “Celestial” graphics. With these next-generation CPUs, Intel will be using more in-house silicon than today’s Lunar Lake and Arrow Lake CPUs. This will increase Intel’s profit margins, as they will be using more of their internal foundry technology and will be contributing less to the profits of rival foundries (like TSMC).
At CES, Intel showed that their 18A silicon is working and confirmed that mass production is due to start soon. Intel’s co-CEO Michelle Johnston Holthaus also stated that Panther Lake “brings all the fantastic features that everyone loves in Lunar Lake, and just raises the bar.” If that’s true, Intel has a lot to be excited about.
