Nintendo announces their SNES Classic

Nintendo has announced their SNES Classic console, which will come with two controllers, 21 games and a never before released SNES game.

This new console/emulator will release on September 29th with a price of $79.99 in the US, allowing gamers to play Zelda: A Link to the Past, F-Zero, Street Fighter 2 Turbo, Super Castlevania IV and Contra III Alien Wars.

With this SNES Classic Edition comes Star Fox 2, a never before released game. Let’s hope that this console will not have the same supply and demand issues as its predecessor.

Nintendo has also showcased versions that are based on each region’s version of the SNES, with the EU and US versions having very different looks.
