Razer pulls its products from sale in the United States

Razer has stopped selling laptops in the US as tariffs come into effect

Razer has officially paused all sales of its laptops in the US, including its new 2025 Blade 16, following the introduction of tariffs in the United States. Currently, only laptop accessories such as skins, docks, and cables are available on the company’s US webstore. Note that Razor’s products remain available to purchase in other countries.

Razer has not commented on the impact of US tariffs or when its products will become available for sale again in the US. Last week, Nintendo announced that they were delaying Switch 2 pre-orders in the US to allow it to assess the impact of Trump’s tariffs.

Razer manufactures most of its products in China, Taiwan, and other Asian countries. These countries are among the hardest hit by the United States’ tariffs, which greatly impact most of Razer’s products. Razer has likely paused its US sales to give it time to assess the impact of the country’s tariffs. There are also analysts who hope that the US’ Trump Administration will reverse course and remove its tariffs, allowing companies to sell their products again as normal.

Below is a comment that a Razer representative recently made regarding Tariffs.

We do not have a comment at this stage regarding tariffs.

– Razer’s Public Relations Manager, Andy Johnston, to The Verge

Many companies have halted product shipments to the United States as they consider the impact of the country’s tariffs. Razer is just one of many companies that have been visibly affected by the United States’ tariff policy. Due to the pause of many goods shipments to the US, there may soon be shortages of many products in the US. Once shipments start again, imported goods will have tariff-related price increases. This will increase the cost of imported goods significantly, with Chinese imports seeing some of the largest price increases.
