Valve has fulfilled all Steam Deck reservations, gamers can now buy a Steam Deck without delay
Valve's Steam Deck gaming system is now available to purchase without any delays, with the company confirming that they have scaled up their production rate and have now fulfilled all existing reservations for their handheld PC.
Starting now, Valve's Steam Deck is now available to order without any waiting. No reservation queue, no deposit, no waiting. Today, gamers can purchase their Steam Deck systems and have one arrive at their door within a matter of weeks.
In the UK, Valve expects new Steam Deck orders to be shipped within 1-2 weeks, with their Steam Deck prices remaining the same as they were at launch, with their 64GB eMMC model costing £349, their 256GB NVMe model costing £459, and their 512GB NVMe model costing £569.
Now that Valve has reached the end of their reservation queue, the company now that the option to expand Steam Deck sales to additional regions, opening up reservations in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. Demand is expected to be high in the regions, so Valve will be implementing a reservation queue to handle initial orders.
