Apple reveals new iPod nano Page: 1
Nano gets a facelift and more
iPod Nano revampedApple have announced their updated iPod nano range, with a sleek new curved design and some cool new features. They are available in nine colours and the enclosures are made of aluminium with a glass fronted  two inch screen. Apple say that the new nano is also the thinnest yet at 6.2mm.
The new nano features Apple's Genius, which automatically generates playlists from tracks in your playlist, which are of similar genres. Another new feature is Apple's new usage of an accelerometer which automatically switches to Cover Flow when rotated  and you can now go into shuffle mode just by lightly shaking the nano.

“The iPod nano is the world’s most popular music player and we’ve made it even better for this holiday season”, said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO. “We think users are going to love the amazing new design, the automatic Genius playlist creation, as well as automatically going into Cover Flow with just a turn of the wrist”.

The new iPod nano is available immediately for a suggested price of £109 for the 8GB model and £149 for the 16GB model.
