“With the emergence of the new smartphone lifestyle, Seagate’s DAVE technology delivers a whole new level of integrated micro-hard disc storage capacity to Symbian smartphones and enables users to increase vastly their storage of digital photos, videos, music and personal data files,” said Jerry Panagrossi, vice president of US operations, Symbian. “This partnership between Symbian and Seagate demonstrates our joint commitment to deliver best-in-class storage solutions to the ever-growing Symbian OS ecosystem.”

Symbian, whose operating system is licensed by the world’s leading mobile phone manufacturers, enables a thriving ecosystem of partners, handset vendors, operators, developers and other key mobile players that create value for the smartphone market.
