X-FI drivers finally restore DolbyDigital on Vista 64 Page: 1

Vista 64 Support at last!

X-Fi Vista 64 supportCreative have finally released Vista 64 drivers for it's X-Fi range, over a year sice the OS was released. The latest version (2.18.004) restores Dolby Digital and DTS for a variety of X-Fi products that featured the capability under Windows XP.

However, it isn't all good news. There is no mention of support for the top of the range X-Fi Titanium series and there have been several problems reported over at Creative's support forum by users of the new version. Creative have been hit with alot of flack lately and they desperately need things to start going right for them at the moment.
