Sennheiser GSP 370 Wireless Headset Review

Introduction

If you've read our review of the Sennheiser GSP 670 you'll know how much we were impressed by its combination of comfort, audio quality and connectivity options. However, we're more than aware than many people will balk at the £299 price tag and want the majority of those elements but in a more pocket friendly package.

Enter the Sennheiser GSP 370.

To reach this lower price point there are a couple of changes from its bigger brother. It still has the ability to connect with the Sennheiser low latency dongle for all your wireless fun and games, as well as connect in a play and charge style, but it's lost the ability to connect via Bluetooth. Also those amazing hinges and high end design has been reduced to something which more closely resembles the design you would expect from a headset designed for gaming. It's not all losses though. The GSP 670 had a battery life around 19 hours of real-world use whereas the GSP 370 promises an eye-opening 100 hours of listening pleasure. We'll find out how accurate that claim is in a moment - hint, surprisingly near - but before that lets cast an eye over the specifications and then get down to how the GSP 370 looks in the flesh.

With compatibility for the PC, Mac and Playstation 4, adjustable equalisation in the Sennheiser software, broadcast quality noise-cancelling microphone and immense battery life the GSP 370 promises much. How does it deliver?
