Be Quiet! 20th Anniversary ARGB Updates
Introduction
We realise that we’re not the spring chickens some of you may be, but back when we first started using PCs your choice was a beige box or a beige box. Then the world of home hardware started to take off and products were no longer aimed solely at businesses but understood there were some enthusiastic home users. That time saw the launch of some early ‘gaming’ products in the form of tube lighting and, gasp, a case with a window in the side. But noise was still a massive problem. Hardware was designed for performance above all else.
Be Quiet! was founded in the famous port of Hamburg and almost immediately launched their products which were designed to take the noise out of home computing. To show that there was an alternative to the Delta fans that many people tolerated. They rapidly expanded their product range from sound deadening mats and quiet fans to encompass a whole raft of components which all, at their core, had the desire for quietness at the core of their DNA.
With it being their 20th Birthday they felt like celebrating and boy have they done so in a big way with three updated products that all take advantage of their famous noise reducing ethos but also bringing the trendy ARGB lighting to the party. Best of all, as you’ll see in a moment, they’ve done this with products which are not only affordable but affordable to even those of you on very tight budgets.

Pure Base 500 FX
The Pure Base 500DX will be familiar to many of you who have been in the market for a new case to house your components, and with this updated Pure Base 500 FX it now has additional ARGB within the case, and the fans have been changed from their Pure Wings 2 140mm models to four ARGB Light Wings (3 120mm and 1 140mm) as well as giving you a hub to control all that lighting splendour.
Pure Loop 2 FX
Available in three different sizes – 240mm, 280mm and 360mm as shown here – the updated Pure Loop 2 FX has also replaced the Pure Wings 2 fans with Light Wings high speed ones to boost the all important static pressure as well as give you the lighting that everyone craves. Like the case you also get the ARGB hub to control everything.
Pure Rock 2 FX
Lastly for those of you who want to stick with good old air-cooling the Pure Rock 2 air cooler has, like the ones above, swapped out the Pure Wings fan for a Light Wings fan so you get the excellent cooling and some fancy lighting.
