Choiix Netbook Cooler

Choiix HL-02 WP Netbook Cooler
Choiix might not be a name that readily trips off the tongue of your average technophile, but when you discover their parent company is a small concern you might have heard of by the name of Cooler Master, suddenly it becomes a lot more interesting. Their motto is provide "joyful, colourful" products and they have a line of niche products, including this HL-02 cooler.
There are four models available in the HL Netbook range, two with USB ports on the rear, available in both black or white, and two without USB ports, also available in black or white.

The raised slope in the design helps to keep the Netbook off of your lap, therefore increasing the airflow underneath and to also place the Netbook at a more ergonomically sound angle for use. The main frame is made out of aluminium to provide optimal cooling efficiency, with a rubber top to ensure that your Netbook doesn't slide off.
To assist with the cooling efficiency Choiix have fitted a 70mm fan to help ensure that there are no spots of dead air underneath the Netbook, which will ensure longevity of the system. As you can see from the graph below from the Choiix website (hence the typo), this is very effective at cooling even the hottest Netbook.
The HL-02, with USB ports, weighs a light 575g and the HL-03, without USB support, weighs a svelte 540g. Both models are designed for Netbooks between 7 and 10 inches in size, the cooler itself having a footprint of 300mm by 230mm and a height of between 5 and 30mm front to back.
