The Hyper 612 v2 comes in the sort of smart looking box typical of Cooler Master. On the outside there are images of the product as well as full specification details.
Inside it's a multi layered cardboard affair giving something of a feeling of a being an archaeologist, as every time you strip away a layer you find something new. Finally after much digging we reached the cooler itself, nestled as it was in a protective bed of expanded foam slabs.
Along with the fan you also get a set of cowling frames which, as we'll see later can be attached to the fan before mounting on the fin stack. if that's not your thing, or you want to add an extra set of fans then have no fear as a set of good old fashioned fan clips are also included. There's also screws bolts, plates, and fittings for just about every recent and not so recent AMD and Intel CPU out there. There's also a small tube of TIM and some rubber pads to limit vibration. Not at all bad for a cooler costing less than £40.
In typical Cooler Master style the Instructions are picture heavy, text light and do an excellent job with separate sections for AMD and Intel.
