CoolerMaster MasterLiquid ML240R RGB Review

Introduction

The evolution of the AIO is an interesting one, not too long ago we were happy if an AIO didn't make your ears bleed.  Shortly after that, the manufacturers entered a quest to be performance king, and now we have what appears to be an aesthetics arms race on or hands.  Why so?  Well by now, most competent manufacturers can access OEMs that will give them an AIO system that performs reasonably well and does the job without bringing round the chaps from the environmental health noise pollution team.  There are though a few exceptions to this rule at either end of the scale.  So where then does the manufacturer spend its R&D money to try to entice you to part with your hard earn coin?  well, it appears to be aesthetics, and in particular RGB enabled, or "addressed" as CoolerMaster prefer to call it, systems.  We've already seen a few, most recently the remote controlled Orcus from Raijintek, so do CoolerMaster bring anything new to the party? and how well will the new 240R stand up in our torture tests?  Perhaps the "Tech Specs" will give us an inkling!
