Cooltek W2 Review

Introduction

We're all familiar with the unboxing videos so popular on You Tube these days.  However what these videos fail to convey is the joy of opening up a box that contains something exceptional.  Believe us when we say we've opened up a fair few boxes here at OC3D and it's not often that we come across something that makes us stand back and simply stare at the product within.  As you've probably gathered the W2 did just that.  Resplendent in Black brushed Aluminium, the W2 is also available in Natural Aluminium, and with or without a window.  Measuring 385x278x395, the W2 has cube like proportions, with the interior utilising the twin chamber design whilst still being able to accept up to XL-ATX motherboards.  Add native water support for both 240mm and 280mm rads as well as decent length GPUs and we've got the makings of a decent case.  At £116 pounds it's not cheap though and will be up against some fierce competition in the market place, so let's hope it's not just a looker, but has it where it counts.

Nice write up Gary, what's not to like indeed. Love almost everything about this apart from the window, I know it's beveled but it sort of detracts from the overall sleekness, had it been flush with no visible screws I'd have said this case stinks of win.Quote

I agree with Wraithguard... the window panel is the only small niggle I have with the W2, apart from that I can't fault it.Quote
