Interior:  Motherboard side

The split interior design of the W2 enables it to accept not just M-ITX, M-ATX and ATX motherboards, but also the larger XL-ATX boards.  Aside from the large CPU cut out there are three other rubber grommeted management holes to bring PSU and assorted other cables through from the reverse side.  The W2 gives a decent amount of its width over to this side giving it the ability to take CPU coolers up to 163mm in height, and GPUs up to 295mm long.  If you need to squeeze in something a little longer this figure can be boosed up to 320mm with the removal of the bottom 140mm fan.

The W2 comes with a very generous 2x140mm fans, with room in the base to add in an additional two 120mm units should you so desire.  As we'll see later it's also possible to get radiators into both of these positions.

With the PSU on the other side of the case the eight chromed and vented PCI slot covers come pretty much right down to the floor.  If you're planning on putting a rad or even fans down here it's worth remembering that you'll need to leave clearance for your PCI devices.  Further up in the top corner of the case sits a 120mm white bladed fan, matching the two 140s in the front.

Nice write up Gary, what's not to like indeed. Love almost everything about this apart from the window, I know it's beveled but it sort of detracts from the overall sleekness, had it been flush with no visible screws I'd have said this case stinks of win.Quote

I agree with Wraithguard... the window panel is the only small niggle I have with the W2, apart from that I can't fault it.Quote
