Up Close:  Interior

Removing the large side panels allows us access to the capacious interior.  First thoughts are that there's a decent amount of well spaced cable management holes in all the places you want and need them.  The case comes pre plugged for ATX, but will also take E-ATX as well as the smaller M-ATX and M-ITX.

At the front there's a pair of RGB 120mm fans, which are already hardwired into the fan and colour controller.  If you felt dissatisfied with these you could always swap them for a set of 140s, which provided they were from Riotoro's own range would still offer full RGB integration.

The CR1280 has a false floor, but there are more than a few "holes" in it.  Granted they each have a purpose, but we're more of a fan of false floors which look clean and smooth.  We especially don't like the placing of the fan cut out above the PSU area.  The more we look at it the more "wrong" it looks.  On the plus side, that cable management hole is perfectly placed to bring up the front I/O power, reset and HDD activity cables.

We're a little perplexed by the decision of Riotoro not to place an RGB fan at the rear of the case as well as in the front.  OK, so you can buy one and place it yourself, but for the money we'd like to have thought they could have included one.

Up in the roof there's room for up to 3x120mm fans or 2x140mm units, with rad sizes of 360 or 280 also being accommodated.
