Packaging and Contents

The box exclaims the contents as being the Tundra Series Super Slim, better known to us (and everyone except the people who printed the box) as the TD02 Slim.  We guess they just got a bit over excited by the whole "slimness" of the thing.

Inside it's the usual egg box card protective shell with the contents individually wrapped in plastic bags (will we be getting charged an additional 5pfor these bags soon)?

The multi language instructions are in booklet form and although informative could be a little clearer.  for example, we really couldn't work out from them whether or not we needed to use the spacer to mount the cold plate or not.  You do of course get a big "Bag-o-Screws" as well as AMD mounting hardware, a universal back plate, a power adapter and a fan splitter.  The Slim also comes with a small syringe of TIM.

Our first look at the fans reveals them to be 15mm thick units slightly reminiscent of the Scythe GTs

Decent.

I see they have lessened the quality and build of this (and thus looks) but at the price they're charging it's fair enough.

This could be very enticing for ITX users Quote

I have the original (fat) TD02 and it's doing a great job cooling my i7-4790K.

If I needed a slim, I would get this one based on the performance and reliability of the TD02.Quote
