In ADIA64's test suite the FX 8320e holds it's ground very well, with a fairly minimal drop in performance compared to the FX 8320 in almost all areas. In the Photoworxx test the FX 8320 actually performs slightly better.
When out 4.6GHz overclock is applied we see a significant leap in performance, moving from a score of 29863 to 40856 in CPU Queen and 275.4 to 395.6 in the zLib test. These gains in performance are very nice indeed, but remember the increase we had in system power consumption.

I'll be honest, when I started this review I was not expecting much, but AMD have delivered a great product here.
The power draw results are very impressive, given that it is mostly changes in the microcode and the performance you get for the price is fantastic. |
