VR Mark
It doesn't matter whether you believe that VR will go the same way as 3D monitors, or whether it truly is the future, but either way the Ryzen 1700 has plenty of get up and go.

Can't wait to watch this one tonight!! I will be buying this CPU, so it's relevant to my interests! I watched another video from a little known YouTuber who's name escapes me, and he did some benchmarking and somehow got his ram to 3600Mhz, and it made a serious improvement in game benchmarks. This CPU at 4Ghz + some higher clocked memory is a VERY impressive performer!

Lovely review Tom. "On that bombshell..." Too bad you can't hear that phrase anymore.
![]() I really don't know what AMD was doing with that temperature offset. They didn't shoot themselves in the leg, they dug up their eye with a spoon. Imagine this headline:"Ryzen 7 on pair with 6900K for half the price and at 65 degrees overclocked!" Definitely the R7 to go for. |
As confirmed by them here.
