Far Cry 5

In benchmarking circles, Far Cry 5 is well recognised for being CPU-limited, especially when using the games Ultra settings. While 60+ FPS framerates are easy to achieve, gamers with high refresh rate monitors can be denied a smoother experience if they chose the wrong processor.

Below, we can see that AMD's Zen 3 based Ryzen 5000 series processors leave their Zen 2/3000 series counterparts in the dust. Minimum framerates increase from the high 90s and enter the mid 120s. For the Ryzen 9 5950X, this represents a 26.5% increase in Far Cry 5's minimum framerate.

Well those results were pleasing to the eye, though I question the price of the 5800x over the 5900x, I'd think it would put a no brainer to go with the 5900x for the extra $100Quote
