Another rendering benchmark and another set of results guaranteed to drop jaws everywhere. The i7-8700K and Ryzen 7 2700X both take around 8 and a half minutes to render our 1080P test (2 million pixels) and the Threadripper 2990WX can do our 4K render (8.3 million pixels) in the same amount of time. No of course we're not saying that you should expect the same performance from two seriously differently priced models, just that anything under half an hour for the 4K test is really impressive and this is single digit minutes.
