We've got both the Ryzen 2950X and 2990WX up for review today, but we know that you'll all be wanting to see the flagship 32 core model. It's a big step up from the plain blue boxes we're used to seeing from the Intel side of things. If you want your expensive product to feel special before you even get it out the packaging, the Ryzen 2nd Generation has you covered.

Usually processor packaging is something we open, dump the box and wheezy cooler, and move on with our lives. The Ryzen Threadripper packaging feels like a proper event opening it up. Quality stuff.

If you've ever found yourself wondering how AMD manage to squeeze that many cores into a small square CPU, the answer is they don't. The Threadripper 2990WX is enormous. Obviously it should be given the hardware, but it still takes your breath away.
