AMD Zen 4 Ryzen 7 7700X and Ryzen 9 7950X Review

Far Cry 6

The format might be in need of taking behind the woodshed, but Far Cry 6 is still a good show of how many FPS games should look, with good graphics and fast action.

I'd say thats on the whole not a bad showing of the next ark problems are expected half the reason i'll upgrade at the end of AM5 than the start, performance wise i'd say it's not big enough for me to want or need it just yet.Quote

Even if it wasn’t for the fact Pound Sterling as of now is at a 50 year low, The UK is unofficially/officially in recession and the cost of living is now in the stratosphere...

But any generation of CPU that requires direct die cooling/lapping plus AIO/watercooling out of the box and also has limited cooler compatibility a week before it's official release…

Sorry but no, I’m out, after sticking with AMD for four CPU generations I’ll wait to see what the new Intel offering is on this occasion.Quote

According to other reviews I've seen that show the 5800X3D in gaming I'm quite impressed that it's either on par, 1-2 FPS behind or way ahead of the 7950X, Will be interesting seeing what the 7800X3D brings.

It's generally not looking good for the UK, Was watching the BBC news before and 1 official type person said "We'll be lucky if the UK doesn't get 3rd world country status within the next couple of years" which was a little surreal to hear.Quote

I picked up a 5800X3D at a snip price to replace my 5800X Dice

I'll stick with my 5800X3D, B550, 3070 workstation build and my 12600K (5.2GHz), Z690 (DDR4 flavour), 3080 12Gb plaything for the foreseeable future methinks.

I'll decline to comment further on the state of the UK, not because I don't care, rather IMO events all started with that f*ckwit Johnson and it makes my blood boil just thinking about it dude.Quote

Not really the correct thread for this subject, although I must have badly missed something here as seeing I thought that UK was doing rather well?…Quote
