The latest version of Maxon’s rendering engine tests both single core performance as well as the multi-threaded option, dispensing with the OpenGL rendering test we had in the earlier version. We have graphs sorted by both the full multithreaded score as well as single threaded result.

Contrary to popular opinion most creator applications for work better on Intel CPUs. All Music production apps, 3ds Max, Maya, AutoCAD, Blender, Unreal Engine, Photoshop, etc. Pretty much anything that isn't Video editing app runs better on Intel.

With Thunderbolt and 10G it is a really good creator board for the price.Quote
