Overclocking
The ROG boards are renowned for their ability to overclock despite the confusing 'gamers' naming. Both the Code and the Formula are rediculously capable especially considering we were testing on what is still classed as a pre release BIOS. 5.2 GHZ for a screenshot is impressive enough, it actually only failed two of our bench runs but thats not 100% stable so we didnt keep that for our bench runs. Oh and yes that is 5.2GHz with 4000MHz memory too.
For our OC tests in the graphs we had to back the CPU off to 'just' 5.1GHz but still with that mindblowing 4000MHz DRAM enabled. Epeen levels are over 9000!!!

Really nice that they thought of this this time around

I like that they have now made the power and reset buttons in the top right corner RGB as well. As on the previous Formula board it was white, and didn't go well if you changed the entire board to one specific colour. Which was rather annoying for myself, as I like uniformity.

Can you use it without? Does it effect any performance on the board?Quote
