ASUS Z270 Workstation Review

PC Mark

PC Mark is unquestionably one of our most frustrating benchmarks. Partly because it takes so darn long to run, but mainly because it doesn't always reflect the overall performance of the system. With the WS though there are no such worries, as the ASUS enterprise 'board finds itself in the medal positions in all three variants.

I was planning on using one 1080 TI with this motherboard. Since that PLX Chip helps to give better performance with two or more video cards, will my game performance decrease substantially compared to dual video cards? And if so, would it be in my best interest to find a different motherboard that doesn't have the add-on PLX Chip so my Game Performance isn't reduced with a single card.Quote
