ASUS Z590-Plus TUF Gaming Review

ASUS Z590-Plus TUF Gaming Review

Introduction

We’ve been trying very hard with today’s suite of Z590 reviews to bring you a full variety of models so that regardless of your pocket and need there should be a motherboard that ticks whatever box you have.

The ASUS TUF range has been a solid performer for a while now. It sits in that lovely middle ground where you’re getting all the benefits of whatever chipset/GPU it uses, but without any of the elements which add undue amounts to the price. It’s very much the model for those of you with a strict budget who might not need to roll the boat out with high end hardware everywhere, but still don’t want those budgetary restrictions to cause you to miss out.

In this particular instance the addition of PCI Express 4.0 is probably the main reason anyone would choose the Z590 over a Z490, and if you just want to bring blistering transfer speeds to your Intel platform then the TUF might very well be a good choice. Let’s find out.

Cooling

Although the TUF doesn’t quite have the same amount of fan headers as some of the Z590 motherboards we’ve reviewed today, it still has enough for all but the most demanding user.
