ASUS Z97 TUF Sabranco White Motherboard Review

Test Setup and Overclocking

ASUS Z97 TUF Sabranco Review

Test Setup

ASUS Z97 TUF Sabranco
Intel Core i7-4770K
nVidia GTX780Ti
Corsair Vengeance Pro 2400 & 2933
Corsair AX760i
Corsair Neutron GTX
Corsair H105
Custom Corsair 540 Air
Windows 7 x64

Overclocking

In keeping with the regular performance we manage to extract from all but the most extreme Z97s, the Sabranco squeezes a great 4.9GHz out of our i7-4770K, but it also manages this at some great volts showing the overclocking stability of the board. The Sabertooth range has been consistently brilliant since its inception, and the all-white Sabranco does nothing to sully this hard-earned reputation.

Reading a review of a motherboard I've already bought...

I believe it was the YouTube preview where I first saw this board, and I knew I had to have it. Upgrading from an i5 3570K to the Broadwell i7 when it comes out. I've got the matching Sabranco memory and a 970 HOF. It's going to be sweet!

Nice review though, properly enjoyed this one. Glad I got myself one of these boards.Quote

Shouldn't the gaming benchmark be a bit higher though?Quote

Actually never mind. I'm so stupid...Quote

I've never really wanted an all-white motherboard before I saw this one. Now I'm looking at White GPUs and coolers too. LOL!

Good review.Quote
