Club3D R9 290 Royal Ace Review
Introduction
The last generation of AMD Radeon cards had a few that stood out about the rest, and one company that really nailed it on with all the different versions was Club3D.
Indeed the cards they provided in the last generation were so good that their HD7970 was the spine of our Ivy Bridge test bench. Given how much abuse our test rigs get we required one that was bulletproof, and in all the time we chopped and changed motherboards, testing CPUs to their limits, and generally mucking about, it never let us down once.
So their cards equipped with the Tahiti core were robust and powerful, so how does their newest addition to the Poker range, the R9 290 Royal Ace, stack up.
