CPU Temperatures
Despite the 7nm manufacturing process the Ryzen 9 3900X is still a 12 core behemoth and once you start pushing 4.4 GHz through every core and running them flat out there is going to be some heat generated. Fortunately the days of AMD CPUs getting up towards the 90°C mark are behind us, and either a slightly more cautious overclock or even some meatier cooling will happily tame those temperatures, as you can see from the stock - which is still damn quick - temps.

So, I reflashed my Gigabyte X570 Aorus Master to the newly released F7a Update AGESA 1.0.0.3 ABBA this morning; the following data was taken from a period of approximately seven and a half hours usage (both work and play) using HWiNFO64 v6.10-3880.
My 3900X now runs accordingly -
4,625MHz - Top core hits 4,625MHz
4,575MHz - Top 2 cores average 4,600MHz
4,550MHz
4,525MHz
4,500MHz
4,475MHz - Top 6 cores average 4,542MHz
4,400MHz
4,400MHz
4,375MHz
4,350MHz
4,350MHz
4,325MHz - Package average (all 12 cores) 4,454MHz
Yeah, I’d say I was happy with that.Quote
