Onboard buttons are always handy, but we think the Direct-To-BIOS button capability of the Aorus Master is something from which we'll extract a lot of us. It's nice to have reset switches, but these days that's less important than the ability to get straight into the BIOS. No mess, no fuss.

The Aorus Master adopts the latest wireless protocol in the form of the Intel 802.11ax 6E, which utilises the 6 GHz band instead of the 2.4 GHz band to bring less interference and thus faster, smoother, more reliable network transfer.

The original X570 Aorus Master had a 12+2 50A power section but the new X570S beefs that up considerably, moving to 14+2 70A Power Stage. Any opportunity to give us more power we can use to either extract more performance from our Ryzen CPUs or merely to be more efficient and cooler by requiring less of its capacity is something with which we can get on board.

Any time there is an update to the power section you require a little more in the thermal department to help dissipate the heat that it generates and the X570S Aorus Master combines highly conductive thermal pads with extra large heatpipes and fins on a thicker PCB to ensure that as much heat as possible gets moved away by your case airflow.
