Introduction

With the new Z370 chipset and 8th Generation Intel CPUs about to be launched we thought we’d take the time to give you some glimpses of upcoming models and items we have in for review. It’s both a preview of technology you’ll soon find in your vendor of choice whilst also previewing OC3Ds content for the coming days.

Currently we have a big pile of Z370 motherboards and after our first look at the MSI Godlike yesterday it’s time for us to bring you Gigabytes new flagship offering, the Aorus Gaming 7. Stacked full of all the latest technologies that form part of the Intel Z370 chipset whilst also finding its PCB festooned with high end choices from Gigabyte themselves, there is an awful lot to make the Gaming 7 a very desirable motherboard.

Let’s see what is on offer.

Technical Specifications

With any flagship motherboard there is a certain level of expectation with regard to the included features and elements, but even with this expectation in place the Aorus Gaming 7 easily made our jaws drop. Thermals are controlled by a comprehensive collection of fan and pump headers working alongside some impressive heatsinks. If bandwidth is more your bag then you’ll find both types of USB 3.1 connectors as well as front panel USB 3.1 for the fastest devices. Alongside that there are three M.2 slots so that you can utilise the class leading storage options. If networking is more your thing then dual GigaLANs in Intel and KillerNIC flavours should ensure your data both arrives and leaves at the best possible rates.

Elsewhere we find classic Gigabyte features such as DualBIOS, high quality audio components, fantastic lighting options and their RGBW LED support. We know you’re as eager to see it as we are to show it to you so click on dear reader.
