Gigabyte Z490 Aorus Pro AX Preview

Introduction

If you've been following along with all of our Z490 motherboard previews here at OC3D you will be aware that there are plenty of different takes upon the formula, with none of them found wanting in any particular regard.

Indeed we find that it's a pleasant change to discover that, instead of removing elements gradually until only a bare bones remain, the Z490 theory seems to be the regulation motherboard setup at middle levels, with the higher models only adding to the specifications list. Even here, the Gigabyte Z490 Aorus Pro AX has everything you could realistically require and the Xtreme is this but with more dressing. The icing and cherries on the cake to borrow the old idiom.
