Starting to wrap up the purely calculative offerings and wPrime95 shows that you can never have too many cores. We would have imagined that the eight overclocked cores of the i7-6900K can match the 3GHz ten-core i7-6950X, and it very nearly does, but there is still nothing you can do against such a monumental thread count.
