Intel Core i5-12400F DDR4 vs DDR5 Review

The middle version of Maxon’s rendering engine tests both single core performance as well as the multi-threaded option. With no Performance Cores or Efficiency Cores the Intel Core i5-12400F is all about a standard solution to the problem of calculation. The DDR5 has the slightly higher single-threaded performance whilst the DDR4 just outpaces it overall.

That depends also on it the etailer/store sticks to $100. I see them adding their own markup on them in addittion, so if that happens i would say its not worth it.Quote
