Power Draw

With so many cores available we were completely read for the i9-7980XE to be the equivalent of a toaster in heat terms and a kettle in power draw. No such issues. Not only does it comfortably best the Threadripper in our performance graphs but it is considerably - 180W - more efficient. Particularly noteworthy when you consider the stock i9-7980XE with its 367W system power draw is nearly half as expensive to your electricity bill despite having the same level of performance.

God damn. I should hope this thing is good, considering it costs 2.5 times what the Threadripper costs here in Germany.Quote
