Overclocking

Despite being comfortably the lowest priced motherboard of the three we're reviewing this month, the Tomahawk still has enough performance within it to push our Core i9-9900K to the magical 5 GHz mark. Certainly if all you want is an affordable motherboard that can run a standard single GPU setup comfortably it's difficult to see what it's lacking. The overclocking was somewhat more involved due to stock Intel power limits but with a few minor changes on the two power % settings our board did manage to hit the 5GHz barrier.
