NZXT N7 B650E

NZXT N7 B650E

Introduction

There was a period recently where all the manufacturers had a white motherboard in their line-up, and the majority of the higher-end models had full coverings too. This has greatly lessened in the most recent offerings, but NZXT are sticking true to their N7 design philosophy.

Their latest AMD model is the N7 B650E, and it ticks all the boxes that you would expect from a model within the N7 range. It’s available in both black and white, with the white model being actually white rather than a curious mish-mash of silver and beige colourings. Although it’s based upon the AMD B650 chipset rather than their flagship X670 chipset, the NZXT N7 B650E still has all the elements you would hope to find. There is DDR5 support, PCI Express 5.0 in both the main GPU slot as well as M.2 storage.

If you want a motherboard upon which to power the NZXT ecosystem with the minimum of fuss the N7 B650E could be just the ticket. So often we endure manufacturers who have a very attractive design and then change it for the sake of change. Or, perhaps worse, just change it because of market trends. NZXT are well aware of how good the N7 looks and if you liked any of their previous models then this new B650E chipset edition is perfect for not having to rebuild everything in your system whilst still getting the benefits of the newest technologies.
