When recording gameplay the performance impact will be minimal, being less than 5% in AMD's test system. This will allow PC gamers to record their favourite moments with a performance impact that is almost unnoticeable for end-users.

This feature will not require users to sign into their drivers like competing software solutions, making this the simplest and least intrusive for of driver based DVR on the market.

Radeon ReLive also supports streaming on most major streaming platforms, not just YouTube and Twitch. This will likely gain AMD a lot of additional support in the Asian markets, where these 3rd party streaming sites are exceptionally popular.
