AMD Freesync

Benchmarks

All the smoothness and tear-free gaming in the world is meaningless if the performance overheads are sufficient to drop the frame rate through the floor. AMD claim that the Freesync technology is transparent and, shocking for those of us who know the truth of manufacturer claims, it proves to be so. Yeah there might be a tenth of a frame here and there, but that's well within the variance we normally see from two different runs. Given how much extra work is going on 'behind the scenes' we'd probably accept a couple of frames drop, whereas there is none at all. Witchcraft from the Sunnyvale boffins.

That monitor looks much better in more real lighting then all the promo shots made it look. Do want.
Its a shame I'm running a 780Ti. This is pretty much what I want from a monitor (ignoring the TN bit) and I'd grab it if my card was from the red side.Quote
