AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT and RX 7900 XTX Review
Up Close – RX 7900 XTX and Size Comparison
The XTX is a tiny bit bigger than the XT, but still much more compact than the Nvidia cards. Useful if you’ve got a chassis you’re particularly attached to.
The XTX still has three fans, and as we’ll see at the end of this review they work beautifully at keeping the AMD Radeon 7900 cool.
We feel the same here as we did on the previous page. AMD introduced the cutout, it works well, why have they removed it here? It seems a curious choice.
If you find the idea of an add-on 12pin cable to be annoying, you’ll be pleased to note the latest AMD Radeon cards still use the 8pin PCIe cables we’ve come to know and love.
Like the RX 7900 XT, the XTX has a pair of 12 bit, 8K165 compatible DisplayPort 2.1s, a Type-C DP 2.1 and the HDMI 2.1a giving you a full choice of display options.
Putting them side by side you can see that the XTX, whilst still slender in the length department has a bit more girth than the RX 7900 XT.
