ASUS GTX980Ti Strix SLI Review

Intel Core i7-4960X @ 4.4GHz

Corsair AX1500i

Corsair H100i
Windows 7 x64

Overclocking

The software that is supplied with the Strix has to be the easiest card management utility we've ever seen. All the bits you actually want are front and centre. Whether it's switching between the pre-installed modes of Silent, Gaming and OC, performing some mild manual overclocking, or really going to town with extreme voltages and cooling solutions, the GPU Tweak II has you covered.

We managed to squeeze another 60MHz from the Strix - with a small voltage tweak - and this is the speed we'll use for our overclocked testing. Its worth mentioning that without even overclocking our card with the GPU Boost2 was running at 1400MHz!

nice review Guv, i'm still not a fan (pun intended) of the new cooler, i much preferred the stealth look of the old Strix cardsQuote

Good review.

Personally I'd sand the red off the side strip so the light just comes through as white, Remove and paint the other 2 strips black and remove the top red cross and paint it black, To me that would look like sex ! Quote

Good review Tom. I have a pair of MSI 980 Ti Gaming.Through their gaming app, i can control the led. Shame Asus doesn't do that with GPU Tweak. Also i have a Nvidia SLI bridge. With that i can control the bridge/Cards LED's through Nvidia Geforce Experience LED Visualizer.Quote
